Getting out in the waves and surfing is easier than you think!

How to Surf? An Introduction to Surfing for Beginners, it walks you through everything you need to know to be a responsible surfer, from general safety & etiquette, the parts of a surfboard, how to paddle, how to duck dive, how to catch that first wave and everything in between. Surfing is an activity that everyone can enjoy at their own level. You will be prepared so that you feel safe and secure about your self and the ocean.

Private lesson

Private Surf Lessons are detailed and focused on an individual’s needs. Available for any level of surfer from complete beginners right through to advanced surfers, these surf lessons will be designed on a case by case basis to maximise the learning curve of the individual. In a private lessons, I will not only focus on the physical skill of surfing but also take you through how the ocean works and how to use it to your advantage.

semi-private lesson

Semi-private lessons are ideal for couples, friends and family. Available for any level of surfer and all ages. With a two student to one instructor ratio there is more time for direct coaching from the surfing instructor, and the opportunity for more attention and feedback.

group lesson

A Group Surf Lesson with a group of friends is the perfect way to start your surfing dream. The only thing better than a surf lesson is a surf lesson with friends. Groups have a maximum of 4 people per instructor so you will all get the attention you require. In no time, you and your friends will get to your feet and be riding a wave.

ALL SURF BOARDS AND WETSUITS PROVIDED

I supply the very best learner specific boards and warm wetsuits to all my surfers. I upgrade my equipment annually which means my surf gear won’t let you down while you enjoy your experience. As you progress I can also supply more advanced boards for the intermediate surfer.

As much as I love to get everyone out in the ocean surfing the waves, I do want you to know that safety is my number one concern. Please note that the environment can change very swiftly, so I do my best to keep you updated on the current weather/wave conditions and how they may impact your lesson. If I feel the conditions will not be safe or you won’t be able to surf during the time frame of your lesson we may need to cancel or reschedule.
